Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues either in collaboration with physicians or independently (based on your credentials)
Involved in patient follow-up and chronic care management efforts
Teaming up with interdisciplinary partners to guarantee cohesive and comprehensive care for every patient
Keeping meticulous and accurate records in electronic medical records (EMR)
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited NP program
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
National certification in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
Familiarity with EMR systems and proficiency with telehealth technologies
