As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the CIB line of business, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical architecture solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of project goals.Job responsibilitiesEngages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose data and reporting solutions to meet current and future needsDefines the technical target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategyHelps define client experience, strategy, roadmap for product go to market and breakdown of technical deliverLeverages enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate architecture analysis and decisioning across the product family, with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive dataParticipates in architecture governance bodiesExecutes creative data and reporting solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systemsLeads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and informationLeverages enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate architecture analysis and decisioning across the product family, with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive dataRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills6+ years Hands-on practical experience delivering Data Architecture and Reporting & Analytics solutions with practical cloud native experienceStrong technical background with design and delivery experience with software patterns and principlesExperience as a functional architect (business / product)Demonstrated experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment in architecture and engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivityAbility to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise-grade architectures while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirementsExperience with domain model, understands business process flow, client experience and use casesUnderstands business capability, features taxonomyStrong communication and leadership presenceAbility to Partner with business teams to understand reporting needs and deliver solutions with client experience focusProven experience to solution designs for data, reporting and analytics based on client needs API and data integration architectureDefine data standards, governance, and best practices in compliance to regional and controls needsIncluding data retention policies that adhere to regional standards.Develop data warehouse and data lake architecture ensuring data quality and data management processes Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsPayments/Acquiring experience is a plusRelevant Data products certification is a plusCloud certifications is a plusExperience with ETL/ELT tools Experience in designing on cloud data platforms (AWS)Implement data pipelines and data transformation strategiesArchitect scalable reporting architecture and BI solutionsDefine reporting data marts and semantic layers as well as dashboard and reporting tools such as: Tableau
