Cardiology ICU - Registered Nurse

ICU Registered Nurse - Cardiac Specialty
The ICU Registered Nurse will provide care for cardiac ICU patients and overflow assignments from the medical, trauma, and neuro ICUs, with a strong focus on cardiology. This nursing position requires a commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, critical care environment.
Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients with cardiac conditions.
Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and perform necessary interventions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records using the Epic charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience in an ICU setting.
Prior travel nursing experience is required.
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (TNCC preferred but not required).
Active RN license; compact licenses are accepted.
