Busser

Ballyhoo Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, hospitality focused Busser to join our team at Old Pueblo Cantina in Lincoln Park.

Concept Overview: From the Ballyhoo Hospitality team that brought you Gemini, and Coda di Volpe comes Old Pueblo. Located on a quaint tree-lined street in Lincoln Park, this homage to the rustic, laidback cantinas of Northern Mexico features flour tortillas made-in-house for its tacos, cheese crisps (think Mexican pizza, only better), burritos and chimichangas. Mesquite wood fuels its wood-burning grill for heartier dishes. A successful Busser contributes significantly to a positive dining experience for our guests by demonstrating attentiveness to both guests and fellow team members. Bussers also play a crucial support role for the serving staff and bartenders by setting tables, refilling beverages, and ensuring table settings are readily available. On occasion, they may also assist polishing and stocking restaurant dishes and glassware. We are looking for busser candidates who are professional, friendly, and dedicated to upholding the highest standards of guest experience.

Serve water to guests and refill beverage glasses as needed.

Stock serving stations with napkins, utensils, plates, glassware and trays.

Reset dining room tables after each guest experience and prepare for the next guest.

Assist dishwashers to scrape, stack, or load dishes into the dishwasher as needed.

Vacuum, sweep or mop the dining room.

Refill water bottles for service.

Assist bar team as needed serving as a Barback for the shift: clearing, resetting and restocking of bar supplies

Perform closing activities such as cleaning chairs and tables, stacking chairs, preparing stations for the next shift.

Eager to learn and grow with the restaurant.

Ability to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.

Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry.
