Our theatres are open 365 days a year, and holidays are often our busiest times. As a Dishwasher at B&B Theatres, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a consistent supply of clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment, contributing directly to the smooth execution of food and beverage service and the overall guest experience. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to sanitation standards, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Operate and maintain industrial dishwashing machines to effectively clean all kitchenware.

• Load and unload dishwashing machines in a safe and organized manner.
• Perform manual washing of specific items, including but not limited to wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate chinaware, according to established procedures.
• Ensure the proper storage of all clean dishes, glassware, and equipment in designated areas.
• Monitor and maintain cleaning supply inventory (e.g., Regularly inspect the operational status of washing machines and promptly report any technical or performance issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure the timely removal and disposal of garbage from the kitchen and related areas.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area, including regular floor cleaning.
• Perform other duties as delegated or directed by the Kitchen Management or General Manager

Previous work experience as a Dishwasher or in a Wait Staff role is preferred.

• Hands-on experience operating industrial dishwashing machines is preferred.
• Ability to assist with various kitchen tasks as needed.
• Excellent attention to detail and a thorough understanding of sanitation regulations.

Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing machines or by hand.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area, sinks, and surrounding workspaces.
Dispose of trash and recyclables according to company policies and health regulations.
Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed, such as restocking supplies or organizing inventory.
Follow proper sanitation, safety, and chemical handling procedures.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure workflow efficiency.
Work independently or as part of a team to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Frequent standing, walking, and occasional sitting throughout the work shift.
Ability to move, lift, stock, and transport items weighing up to 35 pounds safely.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and maintain speed and accuracy in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Ability to work in environments with variable temperatures, including hot dishwashing areas and cold storage.
