Graduate Nurse- RN: Full time Temp

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is a specialty surgery hospital serving the valley for over 20 years! We are seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for our Operating Room .

Responsibilities

The OR RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.

The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.

Resource person and provides guidance to non-licensed personnel.

Cares for adolescent to geriatric patients.

Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Schedule

Four, 10-hour shifts between Monday - Friday.

Required Skills

Operating Room Experience Required

Orthopedic OR experience preferred

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Minimum of two (2) previous OR experience preferred.

Current Arizona Nursing License.

Current CPR, ACLS certified.

Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.

Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.

Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse.

Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the young adult, adult and geriatric patient.
