Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment encompassing Med/Surg Telemetry and Emergency Room border roles. This position requires the ability to manage a diverse range of patient diagnoses, including complex admissions from the Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care to patients within the Med/Surg IMC and ED border settings.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Ensure compliance with established nursing protocols and standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Float between ED borders, extenders to Med/Surg Telemetry, and IMC units as needed.
Respond effectively to changing patient conditions and emergencies.
Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
Shift Details
This position requires working 3x12-hour night shifts from 19:30 to 08:00. Every other weekend and holiday work is mandatory as per the schedule.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant nursing role; first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Active Registered Nurse license in the respective state.
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and CPI.
Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6.
Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment with varying patient volumes (10 to 40 borders daily).
