ResponsibilitiesNoblis is seeking an experienced Software Developer with an active TS/SCI with a Polygraph to support mission-critical national security initiatives in Reston, Virginia.As a Software Developer on our team, you will collaborate with federal clients to rapidly design and deliver innovative solutions that address their most pressing mission challenges. You will work with a team of other developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts (SMEs, and to design and develop new applications and integrate new solutions on existing applications.You will design and build a variety of applications while contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including programming, debugging, testing, and deployment.Develop cutting edge solutions that maximize system performance, stability, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities.Design and implement high-performance, scalable applications using modern software engineering best practices.Collaborate in an Agile development environment, working closely with clients to rapidly iterate on requirements and deliver solutions.Required QualificationsActive Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance with a current PolygraphBachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience; OR High School diploma/GED with 11 years of related experienceFull-stack software development experience using Python, Java, and JavaScriptExperience with one or more database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB)Understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance best practicesExperience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and modern software development methodologiesProficiency with Git version control and pull request workflowsU.Citizenship is requiredDesired QualificationsAbility to manage and support multiple projects in a dynamic environment.Experience developing and deploying applications in cloud environments.Knowledge of Python web frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask.Ability to learn new technologies and contribute across multiple layers of the software stack.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.Proficiency in Python3OverviewOverviewNoblis and our wholly owned subsidiaries, Noblis ESI and Noblis MSD, take on some of the nation’s toughest challenges, delivering advanced solutions to our customers’ most critical missions. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked.
