Description

American Traveler is hiring a CVOR RN with 3 years of open heart experience and CA licensure for a day-shift position with on-call requirements.

Details

Works in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit

Day shift schedule, 4x8 hours, with start times of 6:30 or 9:30

On-call required, averaging 3 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month

Weekend call typically runs Friday 15:00 to Monday 06:30

Assigned to one of four call teams (CV1, CV2, Peds, or Hybrid) with varying shift times

Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC) required
• Minimum 3 years of open heart experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• 2 references obtained within the last year required
• Must provide 7-year work history verification

Additional Information

Pediatric CV and Vascular Hybrid experience preferred

Manager may approve block scheduling, to be discussed during interview

Holiday coverage limited to 1 holiday per contract, with major holidays observed (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract

Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing

All compliance documents due 10 days prior to start

Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius

Returning staff/travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning
