Hotel Restaurant Server (Full Time )

Truth be Told , our British Gastropub, located inside The Study at the University of Chicago in the beautiful Hyde Park, is currently seeking a full-time Server with flex availability. Our hours of operation are seven days a week, 7AM to 10PM.

Provide the highest and most efficient level of hospitality and customer service expected by our guests.

Monitor and observe guests' dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems.

Maintain accurate knowledge of all menu items and beverage programs.

Have a desire to build knowledge of traditional cooking, wine, beer, and cocktails.

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Experience: 2+ years experience in a fine dining or upscale casual environment.

Ability to work 6am to 3pm shift several times a week.

Proficiency in English required. A second language is desirable.

Ability to positively communicate and interact with all hotel departments.
