Cardenas Markets is seeking a retail store Meat Clerk to join our team. The Meat Clerk is responsible for washing, inspecting, and rotating all meat products, along with ensuring displays are stocked with new merchandise and ensuring expirations are up to date. The Meat Clerk must possess strong teamwork and customer service skills.

Work professionally as part of the team and provide excellent customer service;

Verify prices, hang current sales signs, and removes out-of-date sales signs;

Order and inventory required meats, seafood, and poultry;

Sell products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions;

Comply with sanitation and health guidelines.

Valid Food Handlers Card;

Prior food preparer experience at a grocery store preferred;

Within this range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
