Finance Estimator

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team. Manage cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation, product costing, and financial analysis.

Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules related to inventory, fixed assets, and operating costs.

Review and analyze cost variances to identify trends and improve financial accuracy.

Support audit activities, compliance initiatives, and reporting requirements through preparation of documentation and schedules.

Monitor capital expenditures, asset activity, and other cost-related transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.

A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

5+ years of cost accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.

Strong understanding of inventory accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting principles.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

Previous experience working in medium to large organizations with complex accounting operations.

Familiarity with ERP systems and fixed asset management software.

Knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and audit support processes.
