Travel Registered Nurse Emergency Nursing (RN)

Responsibilities

Assessment Skills: Deliver patient care across all stages of growth from Pediatric to Geriatric. Perform thorough, systematic assessments.

Clinical Skills: Provide competent nursing care and demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and equipment.

Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation, assuming responsibility for recording the nursing process and patient progress.

Professionalism: Exhibit professional practice responsibility and identify areas for clinical and professional growth.

Patient Satisfaction: Interact professionally with patients and families, maintaining confidentiality as per HIPAA guidelines.

Safety: Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals, using safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics.

Unit Specific Functions: Tailor patient care according to surgical procedures and anesthesia types, assessing patient reactions.

Responsibility and Accountability: Prioritize patient care based on needs and condition changes.

Patient Education and Chart Completion: Involve patients and families in educational processes, handling pre-operative and postoperative assessments.

Duties Specific to PAT RN: Support timely completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing orders.

Skills and Requirements

1 year experience

BLS - Required

RN License - Required

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Associates or Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
