General Maintenance Technician - Janitor

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance / Janitorial Technician to support daily facility cleanliness and assist with production-related material handling. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe environment and operating equipment to collect and bundle scrap materials.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of workspace

Collect scrap materials from production areas in a timely manner

Operate machinery and equipment to bundle and prepare scrap products for recycling or disposal

Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good working conditions

Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times

Assist with basic tasks as needed

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience preferred (not required)

Ability to operate or willingness to learn equipment used for bundling scrap materials

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Dependable with good attendance and work ethic

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment

Industrial/manufacturing setting

Exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures

Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
