Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and deliver exceptional nursing services in a challenging yet fulfilling environment.
Deliver direct patient care to individuals with a variety of medical conditions.
Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and clinical data.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement comprehensive patient care plans.
Participate in unit activities, including staff meetings and continuing education.
The unit serves a diverse population with common diagnoses including:
Shift Length: 12 hours
Weekend Requirement: Minimum of six weekend shifts per six-week schedule.
Holiday Requirement: Yes
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
Ability to read telemetry strips is essential, as there are no telemetry technicians on the unit.
Unit Information
Unit Type: Med/Surg (Medical Surgical)
Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4
Nurse Aids Ratio: 1:5
RT Equipment: CPAP, BiPAP, High Flow, and vents available on the unit.

All selected candidates must participate in a week of orientation and be present for all in-state activities, even if the first day modules are conducted remotely.
