Fire Protection Engineer
Position: Fire Protection Engineer (Los Angeles Area, California).
Pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate has 7+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Act as fire protection engineering discipline lead for the design and/or review of fire alarm, suppression, and life safety systems on multi-discipline projects.
Act as local fire protection engineering department lead in your office, including business development, team training/mentorship, performance management, workload management and recruiting.
Coordinate with and support other A/E disciplines.
Present and solicit knowledge sharing opportunities between other architectural and engineering disciplines.
Participate in design review meetings and workshops.
Assist with preparation of comprehensive fire protection packages including fire suppression, fire alarm, smoke management, and life safety.
Create specification documentation for fire alarm and fire suppression systems.
Perform fire suppression and alarm systems calculations.
