YOUR OPPORTUNITYAs a Market Manager, you will guide your market to deliver sales goals and objectives within territory and key customer accounts with excellence. You will gain exposure to different elements of the sales and marketing organization to develop and execute customer strategies and business plans. You are an important day-to-day face of Bacardi towards the distributors, customers, and agency partners (ambassadors or event staff) in your dedicated territory and will act as the key contact for those customers, driving new business and maintaining sustainable long-lasting relationships. RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BECollaborate cross-functionally utilizing Bacardiresources and distributor partnerships to achieve maximize performance and sales efforts by achieving increased volumes while building long lasting business opportunities in your market and account universeDevelopment and strengthening relationships with key customer accounts to develop customer strategies and plans that translate into “win/win” scenarios through impactful presentations and evaluating return on investmentsManage your budget effectively and efficiently by applying thoughtful financial decisions to increase profitability and demonstrating strong financial acumen with an understanding of retail finances, pricing, and logisticsProvide market and competitive brand updates to the commercial team to include timely and accurate communication of changing field conditions that may affect volumes as well as staffing changes at distributors and competitorsEngage with Regional Director and Human Resources to hire and develop successful primos through engaging Let’s Talk discussions on specific primo performance feedback evaluating against sales forecasts and KPI goals and provide guidance in achieving career goalsCollaboration and Coordination with Distributor, Advocacy Managers and Brand MarketingSurvey market to ensure distribution, pricing, POS, displays, programs and more are executed to standardResponsible for reviewing overall market performance including Rate of Sale drivers, activations, executionsSKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACYBachelor’s degree strongly preferred or related years of experience5+ years of sales experiences preferably in the spirits or beverage industry and 2+ years of off premise experience preferred Demonstrated knowledge of the off premise business and the critical business factors that drive and impact customer’s business decisions. You will have opportunities to display excellent written and verbal communication skills while also being relaxed giving presentations in front of small groups of people including executives, Bacardi primos, vendors and customers (both internal and external) at all levels of an organization.You are computer proficient working in MS Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and can use advanced computer functions, including navigating the Internet.
