Weekend Registered Nurse - Day Shift

RN Operating Room - Liver Transplant SpecialtyThis is a 13-week contract position.Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) with liver call. Must be available for additional cases if there are no liver/transplant cases scheduled.The RN Operating Room will play a critical role in the surgical team, specifically focusing on liver and transplant surgeries. The ideal candidate must possess substantial experience in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplants and demonstrate proficiency in Misonix/CUSA.Assist with liver transplant surgeries and other surgical procedures as necessary.Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgeries.Ensure proper handling and labeling of specimens.Participate in training and instruction of students and new staff as this is a teaching facility.Fulfill on-call requirements as needed, including one shift per week and two 12-hour weekend shifts per month.Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in liver/transplant operating room.Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications required at the time of submission.NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date.Experience with putting organs back into new patients is required, not just harvesting.Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (cotinine) drug screen is required.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
