Life Insurance Professional

You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. Our client is looking for an Insurance Specialist who will be responsible for managing accounts, resolving past-due balances, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards. Identify problem accounts and resolve past-due issues with payors.
Research inquiries on past-due balances and insurance guidelines.
Resolve delinquent accounts and direct to collections if necessary.
Prepare and analyze reports to address accounts receivable issues.
Handle data entry, verification, and mathematical computations.
Communicate with insurance carriers for required documentation.
Process account receivable reports and manage mail.
Provide outstanding customer service and team support.
Experience with Insurance and Patient Accounts Receivable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Understanding of dental and medical insurance.
Dental experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
