Front Desk Host - Overnight

Overview Dave & Buster’s is looking for a Front Desk/Host to provide a positive first impression for guests. The role involves managing guest experiences, coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephone inquiries while maintaining a clean and stocked front desk station.

Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly attitude and welcome them to the venue.

Coordinate game rentals, merchandise sales, and phone calls.

Maintain a clean, organized front desk and host station, restocking menus, silverware and gift cards as needed.

Assist guests with seating, table turnover, and flow management to reduce wait times.

Process transactions accurately, including bill calculations, “To Go” orders, and cashier duties when applicable.

Handle guest complaints calmly and refer issues to the manager as necessary.

Inventory merchandise before, during, and after shifts.

Support other team members as business demands require.

Maintain a professional appearance in line with dress guidelines.

Ensure safety and cleanliness, including appropriate handling of equipment and supplies.

Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old.

Strong communication skills in English; ability to greet, assist, and farewell guests gracefully.

Previous restaurant, retail, or cashier experience preferred but not required.

Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift; lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required. Work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with occasional distractions. Read and write handwritten notes. Lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Move about the facility, stand for long periods, and walk or stand for 100% of the shift. Reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
