Flexible Attorney-at-Law

Attorney - Legal Advisor (H&P) Location: What You Will Do Draft, review and negotiate a diverse range of agreements common to the oil and gas industry, including drilling and technology contracts, master services agreements, master purchase agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
Analyze and interpret laws, statutes and regulations, identify areas of compliance and potential vulnerability and risk, and partner with the appropriate business unit(s) and/or operations to develop and implement appropriate action plans.
Provide legal guidance and assist the Company on all corporate and strategic transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, inter‑company relationships, complex commercial agreements, and other corporate activities.
Provide advice in a wide array of practice areas and special projects as needed.
Keep up to date with industry related laws and regulations to help identify changes and incorporate them into policies, procedures, and agreements.
Provide litigation guidance, including review and preparation of pleadings, motions, and discovery; Analyze claims/litigation to participate in decisions related to resolution strategy.
What You Need Proven ability to prioritize, review, and negotiate agreements in the context of business circumstances and provide advice that integrates legal risk and business objectives.
D. from an accredited law school and admitted to practice law in Oklahoma (or eligible for admission within six months of hire).
Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in‑house or with a strong regional or national law firm (preferred).
Experience in the oil and gas industry or international law (preferred).
Fluency in Spanish or Arabic (a plus).
Ability to occasionally travel internationally.
