Transport Respiratory Therapist Respiratory Care Nights

Respiratory Therapist - Night ShiftThis is a 13-week contract position.Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts.The Respiratory Therapist provides quality patient care, administering intensive respiratory care and facilitating patient transport as medically prescribed, within the scope of professional license and with minimal supervision. The therapist evaluates patients and recommends appropriate treatment plans while ensuring clear communication regarding the procedures and equipment used.Conduct physician-prescribed treatments using various ventilatory and aerosol equipment.Perform chest physiotherapy to promote secretion clearance.Administer suctioning techniques (oropharyngeal, nasal, and tracheal).Monitor oximetry and capnography according to established policies.Review patients' chest x-rays and assist with evaluations as needed.Conduct pulmonary function studies and assist in respiratory care-related procedures.Perform tracheostomy care and manage endotracheal tube procedures.Carry out arterial punctures and assess ventilation efficiency.Maintain documentation of treatments and communicate patient responses to attending physicians.Ensure accuracy in respiratory therapy charging and data entry.Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation per BLS and ACLS guidelines.Current Respiratory Therapist licensure.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
