Description

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings while crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs
Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, building strength, improving balance, and restoring function
Engage with a multidisciplinary team - including nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehab specialists - to drive successful health outcomes
Guide and educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and effective home exercise practices
Maintain detailed records of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Contribute to care team discussions and interdisciplinary conferences ensuring cohesive patient care delivery
Education
~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized and accredited program

Certifications
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory
Additional specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are advantageous but not required
Skills
Previous experience is highly desirable
Proficient in managing patients facing complex medical and mobility challenges
