An established physician-led organization is expanding its Women’s Health Hospitalist Program across premier hospital locations in the Lakeland, Florida area. We are seeking experienced, board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physicians to join their growing team. Position Overview Employed hospitalist position providing 24-hour inpatient obstetrical and gynecological coverageFull-time status achieved with an average of 7, 24-hour shifts per monthNo call responsibilities – enjoy a true work-life balanceExperienced OB/GYN team provides back-up support when needed Hospital Features Level III NICUOn-site MFM and neonatology support17 Labor & Delivery rooms, 33 post-partum rooms, 7 Antepartum rooms, and 8 OBED rooms24/7 anesthesia coverage with 4 operating rooms dedicated to women’s health Qualifications MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency3+ years of post-training practice experience preferredBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG or AOBOG)Board certification required within 5 years of eligibilityActive, unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)Unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain)Current BLS certification This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician who enjoys the fast pace and team environment of hospital-based OB/GYN care while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.
