Health Referral Coordinator

Referral coordinator facilitates retrieval of all medical and diagnostic reports and images for new referrals; Contacts patients and/or providers to obtain all pertinent medical records and verifies the accuracy of all information obtained. Download Compact Discs (CD) through the PACS scanning system and transfers images to patient chart. Participate in special projects or activities as requested.

ACCOUNTABILITY, ACCURACY, CUSTOMER SERVICE, DESKTOP SOFTWARE - EHR, MANAGE BUSINESS PRIORITIES, RESPONDING TO CHANGE, STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR, VERIFY INSURANCE, WORKLOAD MANAGEMENT

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Complexity of Work: Knowledge of Microsoft word and excel. Required Work Experience: Three (3) years of experience in a related healthcare field.
