Description The Estimator is responsible for generating and estimating an adequate number of profitable project opportunities such that Kenpat USA (“the company”) may meet its revenue and gross profit goals. The Estimator is responsible for following up on submitted bids and selling an adequate number of profitable jobs at margins that will allow the company to meet its revenue and gross profit goals. If necessary, visit the job site to ensure that unusual site or production requirements are properly considered in the bid. reviews those with the President as required under Company policy. Aggressively and professionally follow up all submitted bids with the view to maximize the number of bids that become actual projects for the company. Obtains and critically reviews vendor prices for bid projects. Personally conducts sales calls with customers and keep detailed records of all sales calls and follow-up. Reconciles the contract value with the submitted bid value, including all alternatives. Ability to deal tactfully with human issues with colleagues and customers.
