The Restorative Nursing Assistant- RNA is responsible for providing direct, hands-on care to residents to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental, and emotional well-being possible for each resident without declines in status unless the decline is documented as unavoidable.
Reports to and performs those duties as assigned by the Restorative Nursing Supervisor.
Has been given additional training in the area of rehabilitation.
Participates in care plan meetings.
Demonstrates acceptable skill proficiency in those areas of restorative nursing which the Facility has determined it will make available to its residents.
Maintains consistent patient care schedule and is efficient in use of time. Coordinates restorative treatments with other facility departments.
Able to perform duties with a minimum of supervision.
Requirements for Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) :
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Must hold current CNA Certification
Current First Aid and CPR.
