Job Summary

Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Location: unspecified. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, utilizing the nursing process to meet patient needs. The position requires coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team and demonstrating proficiency in managing patients with complex problems.

Job Details

Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of Nursing; Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); 1 year of nursing experience, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Emergency Department.

Required Skills & Experience: Clinical nursing care, nursing process, patient assessment, patient education, point of care testing.

Additional Skills: Research, discharge planning, performance improvement activities, communication systems, interdisciplinary collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications: BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.
