Quality Assurance Officers

You'll work directly with people in need of assistance, and/or living with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or other complex medical needs.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm *Must have flexibility

Must be willing to travel around Austin and South Austin weekly, and to San Angelo and Big Spring quarterly (mileage reimbursement is provided).**

The Quality Improvement Specialist must be knowledgeable and up to date on rules and regulations affecting their assigned programs, and must work closely with and maintainexcellent communication with the Program Director, Area director and State Director as part of a team approach to providing seamless quality service.The QIS works in the regional or area office and is expected to travel between programs, visiting each assigned program at least once per year or as directed.

Site reviews/audits to ensure compliance
Training in various areas in relation to compliance/regulations

Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the Human Services field, with at least two years of experience in quality assurance.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to build, review, and interpret complex data.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to IDD Supports, such as HIPAA, Licensing Requirements, and Person-Centered Service Provision.
