Responsibilities

Receive, label, and store incoming shipments.

Assess stock for damages.

Maintain concise inventory records.

Accurately fill customer orders.

Pick parts to fulfill orders.

Scan items into the warehouse management system.

Inspect all stock for damages and keep records of damages.

Organize the warehouse space.

Prepare and pick orders for shipment.

Record exact arrival and departure times for shipments.

Operate stock management tools: powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks.

Count stock and keep inventory records.

Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized.

Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations.

Qualifications

Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.

Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.

Regularly lift, push, pull, and move objects 10–50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.

Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach; occasionally sit and climb ladders and stairs or balance.

May be subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.

May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.

Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.

Able to work well under pressure.

Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors.

Must have open availability, flexible, and be able to work various shifts and overtime.

1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred.

Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.
