RN - Evening/Weekend Care

Registered Nurse (RN)

This position is for a Registered Nurse with experience in palliative care or acute medical/surgical settings. This position requires flexibility with a rotating schedule of 36 or 48 hours, including day, evening, and night shifts. Weekend and holiday availability, as well as on-call duties as needed, are also required.

Provide compassionate care to patients (ages 18 and up) with intensive symptom management needs.

Utilize strong IV and wound care skills to ensure quality patient care.

Manage patients with complex medical needs and support their families during difficult times.

Care for general medicine overflow as needed.

Active New York State RN License.

A minimum of two years of recent experience in palliative care or acute medical/surgical nursing.

Strong communication skills for collaboration with healthcare teams.

Compassionate approach to end-of-life care.
