In addition, this Director is to offer assistance to the Operations Strategy team and provide input on the deployment of strategic projects in operational area of expertise. Key responsibilities include assessing project needs in relation to operational area, aggregating data gathered by Operations Business Analyst, making suggestions based on aggregated data and monitoring the project's impact on operational area of expertise. A Director of Operations Process is a strategic, proactive thinker who identifies new ideas and makes suggestions to improve current operational processes.Partner with others across Home Depot to ensure operational areas are considered in project plans.Coordinate responsibilities of Operations Managers and Analysts. Responsible for the overall project work flow and roll-out schedule in regard to operational area.Measure impact of changes and new projects on operational area.Remain up-to-date on operational area of expertise to meet requests for improvement and practicecontinuous process improvement.Partner with Field Implementation Managers to establish project metrics and tollgates in relation tooperational expertise.work toward quick implementation and quick return on investment.Evaluate needs of multiple project requests and impact on operational area, aggregate data gatheredby Operations Analysts and ensure needs of projects are met.Typically considers new approaches within general policies and short-term goals when solvingproblems.Typically expected to provide infrequent status reports to management only as appropriate.Travel Requirements:Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Preferred Qualifications:MBA Degree preferred. 4 years management experience at The Home Depot preferredMinimum Education:The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.Preferred Education:No additional educationMinimum Years of Work Experience:8Preferred Years of Work Experience:No additional years of experienceMinimum Leadership Experience:NonePreferred Leadership Experience:NoneCertifications:NoneCompetencies:Proven financial analysis and business acumen.Strong understanding of Operations and area of expertise.Excellent skills in communication and leveraging partnerships to benefit project objectives.Proven track record in management and leadership skills.Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.SummaryLocation: STORE SUPPORT CENTER, ATLANTA - 9090Type: Full time
