Hospital Veterinarian I - Part-Time

Animal Health Center of Scottsbluff, a CareVet partner, is seeking a compassionate, part-time Associate Veterinarian to join our thriving small animal practice in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Animal Health Center is a thriving two doctor, small animal practice with a strong support team offering high quality, full coverage health care for pets. The practice has been a pillar in the community since 1993, and is located in a large, stand-alone facility with boarding/grooming services.

Health care stipend

Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems

Perform surgery on animals

Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines

Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments

Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required

Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks

Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal

Strong fondness and understanding of animals

Knowledge of animal behavior

Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
