Join our team at The Durham-Kitchen and Cocktails as a Line Cook/Prep Cook and be an integral part of our culinary team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation in our fine dining/restaurant setting. If you are passionate about the kitchen, food safety, menu planning, and creating delectable dishes, we welcome you to apply.
Execute food preparation tasks according to recipes and standards
Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Support other kitchen staff as needed during peak hours
Proven experience working in a kitchen environment
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and best practices
Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as knives and cooking utensils
Passion for the food industry and creating exceptional dishes
