Senior Mechanical Engineer
Our client, a leader in innovative mechanical and electro-mechanical product development, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving the design and development of cutting-edge products, collaborating across departments, and mentoring emerging engineering talent. Serve as the technical lead for new product development, guiding mechanical and electro-mechanical projects through the entire phase gate process.
Conduct design analysis using tools such as FEA and CFD, and facilitate design reviews, DFMEAs, PFMEAs, and DFM reviews to ensure robust product designs.
Act as a product expert, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, manufacturing engineering, sales, and quality to develop and support innovative products.
Engage externally with customers and suppliers on technical topics to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Work alongside the Program Manager to estimate product costs and development timelines, ensuring project milestones are met efficiently.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering or related fields.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; an MS in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
Proficiency in 3D mechanical design software, preferably SolidWorks.
Experience with analysis tools such as FEA, CFD, and tolerance stack analysis.
