Full Time Physiatrist Needed

As a Full Time Physical Therapist, you will provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Rock Island, IL. Work in collaboration with other Health Center staff including doctors, NPs, PAs, nurses, dietitians, wellness coaches, and community providers to promote health and wellness to onsite employees and their dependents.

Practice according to APTA professional standards, using current physical therapy research, clinical reasoning, and the patient’s values when evaluating, assessing and developing a treatment plan for each patient.

Promote direct access to physical therapy services to practice at the highest skill level.

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication by participating in Health Center meetings, patient care meetings, and through documentation and reporting to onsite and community referral sources.

Develop and administer injury prevention and health promotion presentations, workshops, and programs for onsite employees and other eligible populations.

Teach proper body mechanics at the employee workstation, assess and correct ergonomics, and develop targeted programs when needs are identified (examples include Weekend Warrior musculoskeletal screens, Triathlon preparation workshops, Health Back Programs, Stretch and Flex classes).

Degree from an accredited Physical/Occupational Therapy program
