About This Role The Nurse Manager (FGP) at NYU Langone Health is responsible for providing clinical leadership and management of designated care areas, ensuring excellence in patient care and staff development. What You'll Do Foster a culture embedded in NYU's tripartite mission: to serve, to teach, and to discover.
Collaborate with inter-professional teams to ensure excellence in quality and patient experience.
Foster positive work environments based on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Evaluate personnel performance in a fair and transparent manner.
Serve as a role model by demonstrating visibility and effective communication.
Participate in establishing the strategic financial plan and monitor expenses.
Coordinate care delivery using labor productivity data to plan staffing patterns.
Hold self and others accountable for exemplary care delivery.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Master's Degree in Nursing: Preferred upon hire, required within 5 years for Nurse Manager role
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in nursing
Licenses & Certifications: Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse License
Certification in area of specialty and/or Nursing Administration (NE/NEA) to be obtained within 2 years
