Direct Support Professional - Group Home Caregiver - Part Time
$16 - $17 per hourThe Community Supports Network, Inc.
Direct Support Professionals
(DSPs) provide daily support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, helping them live independently, safely, and meaningfully in their communities. This is a rewarding entry-level healthcare and human services role with paid training and growth opportunities. No prior experience required.
Support individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and household routines
Assist with personal care, hygiene, and medication support according to training and care plans
Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, work, errands, and community activities
Encourage independence, social engagement, hobbies, and personal interests
Support individuals in learning life skills, job skills, and community participation
Follow all health, safety, behavioral, and individual support plans
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
Reliable vehicle for transportation during shifts
Ability to complete job-related training and certifications
No degree or prior experience required. Paid training is provided.
Direct Support Professional
Caregiver or direct care experience
Healthcare or behavioral health
Human services or social services
Mental health support
Paid training and ongoing coaching
Tuition reimbursement for leadership positions
Wellness and gym reimbursement programs-
Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees scheduled 30 or more hours
Full-time and part-time positions available
Available shifts include 8am 3pm and 3pm-10pm.
Work occurs in residential homes and community-based settings
Hourly pay range $16.00 to $17.00 per hour
Shift differentials may apply based on schedule and coverage needs
