Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a part-time Psychiatrist - Consultation and Liaison to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Nort h Central Bronx. The Department of Psychiatry has 3 Adult Inpatient Units, a satellite CPEP, a Psychiatry Consultation Liaison service, a Partial Hospital Program, an Outpatient Department, and an ACT team.
The C/L service treats an extremely broad and fascinating spectrum of conditions, reflected by the very diverse ethnic and socioeconomic population that the medical center serves.
The Consultation and Liaison Psychiatrist will have the responsibility for providing consultations referred by the medical, surgical, pediatric and obstetric services.
Assesspatientmental health status and diagnosedisorders.
Responsiblefor teaching and supervision of psychologists, psychology interns, medical and PA students.
Participate in activities related to clinical care and documentation of care, performance improvement, regulatory compliance and student education.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Required.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Required.
Active New York State Medical License.
Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $311,612** (board eligible) and $318,410** (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.
• Projected bonus of up to $24,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
