Phlebotomist, Hospital Phlebotomy

Overview Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II - Float to support our client’s medical facility in Ocala, FL . This is a 4+ month contract with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Shift: Mon-Fri 8-hour shift between 5 AM - 5 PM, Rotational Saturdays.
*Job Responsibilities Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection following established protocols.
Draw high-quality blood samples, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Ensure tubes are labeled in the patient’s presence and properly documented.
Job Requirements Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
Must demonstrate Superior Customer Focus; Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
1-3 years phlebotomy experience REQUIRED, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
Travel between multiple sites with reliable personal transportation and maintain on-time attendance at all assigned locations.
mileage is reimbursed between sites only , not from home.
