Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

Conduct a broad range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, providing clear explanations at every stage with warmth and empathy

Collaborate with radiologists and referring practitioners to guarantee the highest quality of diagnostic imaging

Skillfully operate and maintain imaging equipment, addressing technical issues as they arise

Thoroughly document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health record system

Persistently update your knowledge on ultrasound imaging advancements and industry best practices

Education Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline

Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent organization

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

Strong expertise in sonographic imaging techniques and patient handling
