CARGO VAN DRIVER (Bronx, NY 10461)
Starting Pay: $23.75/hr.
JOB DUTIES:
Operate a cargo van to complete assigned delivery routes safely and efficiently.
Load, transport, and deliver packages to designated locations.
Perform frequent walking throughout the workday while making deliveries.
Lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
Follow assigned schedules, routes, and delivery procedures.
Provide professional and courteous customer service.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid driver's license.
Minimum 5 years of driving history.
At least 1 year of experience operating a cargo van or similar commercial-size vehicle preferred.
Ability to safely lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform extensive walking and physical activities throughout the workday.
Strong time management, organizational, and navigation skills.
Reliable and dependable attendance.
Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines.
