Registered Nurse

This position focuses on providing care in a mixed acuity environment. The unit cares for medical-surgical patients as well as patients requiring progressive care. Staff will encounter a variety of patient diagnoses, including oncology and stroke care. Patient ratios are dependent on the acuity level, with medical-surgical patients typically at a ratio of 1:5-6 and progressive care unit patients at 1:3-4. Nurses will administer various infusions, including Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Insulin drips. This position supports a dynamic interdisciplinary team, including therapy and social services. Employee attendance during two out of three major holidays is expected.
