Rehab Therapy - PTA

Role Overview: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct rehabilitation care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and follow individualized treatment plans for patients.

Assist patients in achieving functional progress and improving quality of life.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation and utilize therapy software effectively.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing and medical staff.

Ensure patient safety, adhere to confidentiality, and follow all regulatory and company policies.

Participate in community health projects and assist with patient evacuation when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT).

Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state; active license required.

CPR certification (obtain during orientation if not already certified).

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication.

Strong communication, body mechanics, and independent decision-making skills.

Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain professionalism.

Additional Requirements

Maintain licensure and CPR certification, demonstrate good judgment and professionalism, and adhere to all safety, confidentiality, and compliance standards.
