Radiology-Radiographer-fulltime

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 - Under supervision, and following established procedures, performs a variety of radiologic procedures in two or more modalities, using standard, portable and/or specialized X-ray equipment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient’s illnesses or injury. Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience: Graduate of Radiology program and maintain ARRT and state licensure Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills Ability to operate radiologic equipment Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience: Experience in acute hospital setting Experience with sterile technique Experience with administering contrast dye Assisting IR procedures Experience with PACS Previous Cerner experience a plus Educational Requirements: Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology; License/Certification: ARRT registration and Massachusetts licensure required Advanced registration for additional modalities and hospital IV certification as appropriate for the modality.
