Registered Nurse Weekend Emergency Department Night Shift

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-acuity environments and demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment and emergency care procedures.ResponsibilitiesProvide care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting.Perform triage, evaluate patient conditions, and prioritize treatment based on patient needs.Administer emergency medications and perform procedural sedation as necessary.Care for ventilated patients and manage trauma and psychiatric holds.Utilize expertise in dysrhythmia interpretation and manage critical care situations.Deliver pediatric emergency care in accordance with established protocols.Document patient information accurately using EPIC documentation software.Effectively engage with interdisciplinary teams during high-pressure situations.QualificationsA minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI.Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, and familiarity with stroke-certified and STEMI-certified facilities is preferred.Ability to work comfortably with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3.5.Willingness to float between units as needed.Availability for shifts every other or every third weekend.Valid nursing license for the state of employment is required.36 hours of orientation will be provided.Additional InformationUniform attire includes navy scrubs. Candidates are expected to have flexibility in scheduling, with night shifts required (3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30).Client Details City Columbus State OH
