Registered Nurse
Salary Range: $30.00 To $40.00 Hourly

The individual in this role assumes direct responsibility and accountability for the care of chronic dialysis patients as well as oversight of unlicensed assistive staff in assigned/designated areas. This individual provides safe, effective, and compassionate care that is consistent with State and Federal regulations and Company policies, procedures, and guidelines and within his/her scope of practice.

Provide direct patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and continuous manner as related to the scope of practice.

Provide supervision of assigned direct patient care staff, including pre-assessment, monitoring of treatment initiation, intradialytic monitoring, treatment termination, and post-assessment.

Oversee the closing of the facility after the last procedure (including verifying closing procedures completed by technicians), ensuring the readiness of the facility for the next day’s operations.

An Associate’s degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required. Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Must have current and valid State professional nursing licensure.

A minimum of two years of recent dialysis experience is required.

Candidates with Med/Sur, ICU/CCU, ER, or other critical care experience are preferred.

Certification in the Dialysis specialty is encouraged.

Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with other staff members, patients, and physicians.

Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Must have computer skills including data entry, navigation around software, and basic troubleshooting skills.

Speak effectively with patients, family members, visitors, physicians, and other staff members.

Minimal travel is required in this role.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts (dialysis equipment and machinery). The employees may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. J-18808-Ljbffr Physicians Dialysis
