Senior Underwriter, ReinsuranceThe Senior Underwriter, Reinsurance, will be a key member of the Westfield A&H Underwriting team. In this role, you will be responsible for underwriting Managed Care, Provider Excess and other specialty products.Reporting to the Chief Underwriting Officer A&H, you will be a key contributor to the overall management, growth, and profitability of our business.Lead our entry into new products and markets such as Provider Excess and Managed CareDevelop and execute underwriting strategies for assigned products.Manage the relationship and profitability of your assigned MGU accountsWork directly with brokers to develop business flow and successfully acquire businessPart of and present new and renewal opportunities to our Peer Review team (UW, Actuarial, Claims).Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree10 years underwriting HMO and Provider Excess covers.Employer Stop Loss experience a plus, as is familiarity with the Xpert systemEstablished broker relationshipsProgram management experienceThis job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
