Job Description
Registered Nurse - PCU
Schedule
Shift: 3x12 1845-0715 (36 hours only)
Assignment Details
Contract length: Longer contracts accepted through 2/27/2027. Weekend coverage: 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks. Float required as needed. Must be willing to work holidays. Ratio: 1:6. RTO policy: Will not accept more than 7 days of RTO.
Requirements

• BLS & ACLS required
• NIHSS preferred
• 2 years of cardiac experience required
• MS/Tele/Step down experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of cardiac experience
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start

Responsibilities
Provide care to patients with various cardiac conditions including atrial fibrillation, CHF, ACS, CAD, and more.
Monitor and manage post-operative care after cardiac and thoracic surgeries.
Assist with sheath management and removal.
Utilize specialized equipment such as EKG, arterial lines, and bladder scanners.
Document and communicate patient information via EMR systems.
Participate in unit-based teamwork and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Compliance / Notes
