Greets guests and interested players and seats players into live games as seats become available; also responsible for creating an enjoyable atmosphere for all guests and cultivating poker players

Target Pay: Start - $25.29 One Year - $28.10

Essential Job Functions:

Maintains knowledge of all Rivers SCHE Poker Room games, promotions, tournaments, and programs

Adds player names to the Poker Room wait list

Escorts players to their seats; retains knowledge of player preferences in order to provide superior guest service

Answers all incoming telephone calls to the Poker Room

Acts as Chip Runner

Assists with poker tournaments as needed

Periodically audits and replenishes Poker table bank inventory as directed by the Shift Manager

Complies with all departmental and company policies and procedures

Maintains cleanliness of the Poker Room

Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older

High school diploma or equivalent

Two or more years of customer service experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

Must be computer literate; knowledge of Google Docs preferred

Must have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work assigned shifts including those on weekends and holidays

Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses

Working Conditions:

Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use of hand to finger dexterity, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms; stand and/or walk for prolonged period of time

Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds

Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel

Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor

Possible exposure to high noise level for extended periods of time
